Georgian Officials wish happy Easter to those celebrating today

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, President Salome Zourabichvili, Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze sent their kind wishes to all celebrating Easter today.

Catholics, Evangelical-Lutherans and Armenian Christians celebrate Easter on April 4 this year.

“I would like to congratulate our compatriots, the parish of Catholic and Armenian Apostolic and Lutheran churches, all those who celebrate this great holiday, on Easter. On this holy day, I wish you joy and health, prosperity and peace to your families and our homeland,” PM wrote on Facebook.

“Part of Christendom celebrates the glorious resurrection of Christ today. I congratulate our fellow citizens and all those who celebrate the day of spiritual uplift, life and kindness cordially. I wish you happiness, health and prosperity, ” President Zourabichvili wrote on the social network.

Parliament Speaker Talakvadze wished everyone peace, health and success. “On this day of resurrection, life and a new beginning, we all celebrate together with you. I wish you peace, health and success,” he noted in his letter.

Mayor Kaladze also sent kind wishes to all celebrating Easter today. “My dear compatriots, my foreign friends, I wish you kindness, love, peace and prosperity”.
