Placido Domingo hospitalized in Mexico with COVID-19 complications

Spanish opera singer Placido Domingo has been hospitalized in Mexico with complications related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

A spokesperson for the opera singer released the statement and said that Placido Domingo will remain the hospital for as long as it’s necessary.

Spanish opera singer announced on his Facebook page last week that he had tested positive for the virus.

The 79-year-old Domingo resigned as general director of the Los Angeles Opera last year, after being accused of sexual harassment.
