Donors of Alliance of Patriots to enter parliament by replacing boycotting MPs

Nana Devdariani, the sixth on the party list of the Alliance of Patriots, will not assume MP duties after the parliament terminates MP mandates to the first three members.

Devdariani said the political team decided to renounce the parliamentary work. However, the funders, being on the party list, might take up their seats.

“The party cannot pose ultimatums to the party donors,” Devdariani claimed. She named Fridon Injia, former communications minister among party donors.

On January 4, the parliamentary procedural committee will consider the application of three members of the Alliance of Patriots, Irma Inashvili, Giorgi Lomia, and Gocha Tevdoradze, to terminate their mandates.

The Alliance of Patriots secured four seats in the parliament of the 10th Convocation. Only one MP from the party, Avto Enuqidze, agreed to engage in the parliamentary work.
