A patient attacked and injured a nurse in one of the COVID-Hotels in Batumi.

As Nurse Asmat Varshalomidze said, the patient is involved in the methadone program and was demanding additional strong drugs.

Varshalomidze is being interviewed at the police station.

“I was measuring the patient’s blood pressure when he attacked me, strangled me with a robe and put a razor blade on my throat. The patient saved me, otherwise, I do not know how it would end,” Asmat Varshalomidze told Georgian First Channel.
