Parliament Vice Speaker on OSCE/ODIHR report

Expectations that OSCE/ODIHR would somehow hint on the election fraud, were not justified, said Parliament First Vice Speaker Gia Volski.

Volski commented on the final report of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) released on the October 31, 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia.

“The opposition is now trying to seek the mechanisms for influencing the voters’ will in OSCE/ODIHR provided recommendations,” Volski claimed.

The parliament vice Speaker also commented on the initiative of holding a plebiscite. He said that replacement of the election results with the plebiscite was a juridical nonsense. However, “Any issue that is not an ultimatum, should be considered,” he said.

The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) published the final report on the October 31, 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia on March 5.
