Georgian parliament convenes for the spring session

The Parliament of the 10th Convocation will hold its spring session on Tuesday.

The lawmakers will discuss applications of 51 opposition MPs on mandates termination. Prime Minister, State Security Service, State Audit Service, General Prosecutor, Public Defender, and State Inspector will deliver their annual reports as a part of the spring session.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will be given the floor and answer lawmakers’ questions in interpellation format.

The supreme legislative body of Georgia closed the fall session at the end of December 2020. It then convened several times for extraordinary sessions.

The spring session will be closed at the end of June.
