Parliament holds the sitting of the Bureau today

The sitting of the Bureau will be held in the Parliament of Georgia today. The agenda includes the ratification of international agreements, several bills, as well as the issues regarding the coronavirus in the country.

United National Movement plans to urge the government to submit an anti-crisis package to the legislature if there is a need to extend the state of emergency in the country.

Members of the opposition factions – United National Movement and European Georgia – think that the government should take effective steps to help both unemployed citizens and Georgian entrepreneurs.

In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, Georgian Parliament has suspended committee discussions and plenary sessions. Instead, Parliament works remotely.
