It does not matter whether you call the current situation the first wave or the second, the reality is that coronavirus continues – said Paata Imnadze, Deputy Head of National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health.
Imnadze responded to the questions about possible launch of the second wave of the pandemic in the country. He said that Georgia did not face the first wave like majority of world countries.
Deputy Head of National Center for Diseases Control once again called on the population for observing the recommendations regardless of the geographical location.
“The requirements and rules are the same everywhere: face masks in closed spaces, social distancing. Single cases will be revealed every day but if we do not follow the recommendations, there will be many cases of infection,” Imnadze said.
