Out of 24 new COVID-19 cases, one was revealed in Adjara

Out of 24 new COVID-19 cases reported in Georgia, one was revealed in Adjara region.

According to Adjara Health Ministry, the case is imported. The infected person has history of traveling to Turkey and was in quarantine. The patient is placed at Batumi Republican Hospital.

There are 10 patients confirmed with COVID-19 undergoing medical treatment at Batumi Republican Hospital. Their health condition is satisfactory.

The 25 persons are placed at Batumi Fever Centers. There are 2 125 people under quarantine in Adjara region.

Georgia reported 24 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected persons to 1073, according to stopcov.ge.
