Out of 13 new COVID-19 cases, source of infection into 3 cases is connected to Lilo Mall, 2 doctors confirmed with virus

Out of the 13 new COVID-19 cases revealed in Georgia, the source of infection into 3 cases is connected to Lilo Mall – said Marina Ezugbaia, Medical Director of Tbilisi Hospital of Infectious Diseases.

According to Ezugbaia, 5 cases are imported (out of them 4 are truck drivers), 2 doctors have been confirmed with the virus, one patient is from Gachiani settlement, one is a contact with already confirmed case. The source of infection into 1 case is unknown.

Georgia reported 13 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing the total number of infected persons to 1117, according to National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health.
