Opposition to protest at Governmental Administration

The opposition will hold a protest rally at the Governmental Administration at 3 pm local time on Tuesday.

According to Khatia Dekanoidze from UNM, the whole world saw the raid at the UNM party office.

She said Bidzina Ivanishvili’s (former GD Chair) government turned into the Bolshevik regime and pledged that UNM Chair Nika Melia and Georgia would be free.

“We are not afraid of Rodionovs, Gavrilovs, and oligarchs of Russian Bolsheviks. We will continue to struggle for the victory,” Khatia Dekanoidze claimed.

The European Georgia party leader, Giga Bokeria, said the Georgian society must react to Melia’s arrest. Otherwise, the country would fall into an authoritarian swamp.

“We have seen how oligarchs, who go against freedom of their people and the free world, end up,” Giga Bokeria claimed.

Law enforcers arrested UNM Chair Nika Melia following a special operation.
