Of 1 872 new coronavirus cases, 913 detected in Tbilisi, 296 in Adjara, 337 in Imereti

Berdia Sichinava, Deputy Head of the Task Force operating at the Inter-Agency Coordination Council on coronavirus has named the locations where 1 872 new coronavirus cases detected in the past 24 hours.

The locations are as follows:

  • Tbilisi – 913
  • Adjara – 296
  • Imereti – 337
  • Kvemo Kartli – 89
  • Shida Kartli – 54
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 90
  • Guria – 32
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 30
  • Kakheti – 13
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 11
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 7

Sichinava added that at this stage 401 coronavirus patients are in a serious state, of those, 159 in Tbilisi and 80 in Adjara. Among them, 117 have been put on artificial ventilation.

Georgia has reported 1 872 new coronavirus cases, 14 deaths and 603 recoveries today.
