Nugzar Tsiklauri: There were attempts to sabotage Sandra Roelofs in Zugdidi

According to Nugzar Tsiklauri, the member of the National Movement’s political council, yesterday, all day long there were attempts to sabotage Sandra Roelofs, the mayoral candidate in Zugdidi town of western Samegrelo region.

Nugzar Tsiklauri made this statement at the briefing in the headquarters of the United Opposition today.

“The policemen were tailing us all day long. We believe that these actions are aimed at disrupting political processes, to stop the inevitable failure of the government. The United Opposition will do the best to conduct campaign peacefully” – he said.

Three members of the National Movement party were detained in Zugdidi yesterday.
