Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia plans no full lockdown in Georgia. According to PM, the healthcare system is handling the current Covid-related challenges in the country.

“We are following the plan, which will not change. The retailers, which temporarily reopened on December 24, will be closed. Neither pedestrian nor automobile movement restriction is planned,” Giorgi Gakharia said.

PM said that the real easing of restrictions might be possible from February 1. “The careful achievements reached in handing the epidemiological situation are at risk till then,” Giorgi Gakharia claimed.
