Nikoloz Basilashvili gained his first ATP title

Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili gained his first ATP title at the German Open in Hamburg.

In the final of German Open, Georgian tennis player defeated Argentinean Leonardo Mayer in 2 hours and 13 minutes – 6-4, 0-6, 7-5.

The Hamburg tournament is special for Leonardo Mayer’s career – he has won two professional tours, and both of them in Hamburg.

Nikoloz Basilashvili has previously lost two ATP finals – the Memphis Open and Austrian Open in 2017 and 2016.
