Nikol Pashinyan congratulates newly-appointed prime minister of Georgia

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Mamuka Bakhtadze for being appointed as the country’s new prime minister.

As the press department at the government reports, PM Pashinyan notes that the Georgian and Armenian peoples have been long united through friendly and brotherly ties which will allow to continuously bolster the relations of the two countries.

“My recent official visit to Georgia and the efficient meetings held there once again came to assure that the Armenian-Georgian relations have a great potential. I am confident that the mutually beneficial cooperation between Armenia, Georgia will continue developing and stagnating for the sake of prosperity of our peoples,” reads the message in part, as reported by www.panorama.am.

To remind, Georgia’s parliament on Wednesday voted 99 to 6 to appoint Bakhtadze as prime minister, a week after his predecessor Giorgi Kvirikashvili stepped down.
