New marine terminal will be built in Poti

A new marine terminal will be arranged in Poti and the depth of the water will be increased, consequently, the port will be able to receive 50 thousand tons of ships.

The agreement signing ceremony between Pace Group and the US-based Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) is underway at Hotel “Biltmore” in Tbilisi. President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili, Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, members of the government, diplomatic corps and foreign guests are attending the event.

According to the agreement, Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC) will provide 50 million USD to Pace Group for marine terminal project.
