New academic year to start on September 15

The new academic year will start in Georgia on September 15, – the Minister of Education of Georgia, Mikheil Chkhenkeli said.

As Mikheil Chkhenkeli noted, due to the current epidemic situation, studies will start on September 15 in the usual mode.

“Based on the current epidemic situation, the new academic year will start on September 15, as usual. Of course, we are ready for all scenarios. I repeat, based on today’s data, we decided to resume the study process in classrooms and auditoriums, but we are also ready for any scenario – the education system will adapt to the epidemic situation that will be relevant at that time,” – said Mikheil Chkhenkel.
