Two Chinese travelers in Georgia are being observed, the head of National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC) Amiran Gamkrelidze stated.

Gamkrelidze said those travelers are not from Wohan where the novel virus originated, but from one of the provinces of China.

“Their body temperature is 37 degrees. They will be tested for all types of coronavirus.

The test samples will be sent to the Lugar Laboratory in Tbilisi, Gamkrelidze said.

The coronavirus (named “2019-nCoV”) was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China.

132 people had died from the coronavirus in China. More than 6,000 people have now been infected.
