NCDC Head: Despite calls, social gatherings shifted from Tbilisi to Mtskheta after 22:00

The head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health (NCDC), Amiran Gamkrelidze, once again emphasizes the importance of following the recommendations in the fight against the coronavirus.

According to Gamkrelidze, despite the calls, social gatherings are held in Mtskheta after 22:00.

“There is nothing better than a face mask, it defends the best. We have to get used to it and wear it everywhere. Despite many calls, the parties now shifted from Tbilisi to Mtskheta after 22:00. This is not right. If we follow all the rules, we will get out of this epidemic with relatively less loss,” noted Gamkrelidze.

According to the government’s decision, from October 16, restaurants, as well as all entertainment establishments in Tbilisi and Imereti region will be open until 22:00.
