Nationwide public discussions of constitutional amendments to start on June 4

The format of the nationwide public discussions of constitutional amendments was discussed at today’s meeting in the Parliament, Irakli Kobakhidze, a member of the parliamentary majority said.

As MP noted, two meetings will be televised in which the representatives of the commission will present the constitutional amendments.

“We will also interact with the public, receive questions and provide with answers. Televised meetings will be broadcasted live on Georgian First Channel on June 4 and Adjarian Public Broadcaster likely on June 13/14, Kobakhidze said.

Kobadzidze thinks public discussions of constitutional amendments will be completed by mid-June.
