National Movement left Interagency Commission

The National Movement party left the Interagency Commission.

As the member of the National Movement party Levan Bezhashvili states, the party does not consider the participation as appropriate when the format lacks unbiased arbitrator.

According to him, the commission turned into headquarters of ruling Georgian Dream party.

In addition, the European Georgia party left the Interagency Commission today. As the member parliamentary minority Otar Kakhidze explained that the Commission does not react to electoral violations, its activities looks like a farce and European Georgia do not see the point of working in such format.

On September 14, non-governmental organizations – International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy and Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association expressed distrust to the Commission.
