National Movement holding protest at Tbilisi City Assembly

A protest is being held at the central entrance of Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Assembly) in support of Levan Khabeishvili, a member of National Movement Party in Sakrebulo.

Leaders of National Movement and European Georgia parties as well as representatives of “Dare” and “Make a Change” movements are taking part in the protest.

Protesters demand an objective investigation into the physical clash that took place in Sakrebulo earlier this afternoon.

A physical clash took place during the Revision Commission sitting at Tbilisi Sakrebulo (City Assembly). Levan Khabeishvili, a member of the National Movement Party received injuries.

Khabeishvili explained that the clash was payback for his statement made with one of the national TV companies about the slavery work of the Sakrebulo cleaning staff for 8-GEL daily salary.
