Natia Mezvrishvili on the importance of curfew

Natia Mezvrishvili, Head of the Governmental Administration explained the importance of curfew in the news program Moambe.

“The curfew has given us the opportunity to reduce mobility, that means to restrain the group movement of people, in families, relatives, friends during the evening time, considered as a time for entertainment. An evening is a period when people closely communicate with each other for fun, go to relatives and friends. The purpose of the curfew was to increase social distance, to avoid contact between people, because in conditions when bars, cafes and restaurants are closed, these activities are usually transferred to families where it is much more difficult to control the social distance and follow the proper rules. I understand that it creates discomfort, but it is a very important lever to prevent the spread of the virus” – said Natia Mezvrishvili.
