MP Mdinaradze: No compromise proposal comes from opposition

“Unfortunately, we do not remember any compromise proposal from the opposition,” Mamuka Mdinaradze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, echoed the negotiations with the opposition.

“It is not their know-how to call for dialogue. That is a reality we cannot escape. It is incorrect to refer to a six-point compilation document as an agreement or a plan. It is a list of demands by all the subjects of our opposition. We can boldly say that we are working on some points. But there is also an out of the question issues.

Despite our compromises, unfortunately, we do not remember any compromise proposals from the opposition. When it comes to potential snap elections in a compilation document, it is not negotiable without any basis and argument.

If the commission establishes even a one percent flaw in favour of the Georgian Dream, it will be a realized demand. If the opposition says it does not care about the grounds and wants early elections, our answer is no,” said Mamuka Mdinaradze.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and opposition politicians have held negotiations at the presidential palace mediated by European Council President Charles Michel on March 1.
