Mountainous Adjara to resume studies remotely 

“From September 15, educational process in mountainous Adjara, in Khulo, Keda and Shuakhevi will resume remotely,” said the Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Tornike Rizhvadze.

Rizhvadze noted that one of 109 coronavirus cases recorded in one of the resource centres of mountainous Adjara. “Therefore, studies will resume remotely. Government of Adjara will provide support in this regard,” added Rizhvadze.

Georgia has reported 165 new cases of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) today, bringing the total number of infected people to 2 392.

Among the new cases, 109 are linked to Adjara, said Marina Ezugbaia, medical director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital.
