Moldova holding 2nd round of presidential elections

The second round of the presidential elections is being held in Moldova today.

The head of the pro-European party Maia Sandu and the current President Igor Dodon are running for the presidency.

Sandu obtained 36.16 per cent of votes in the first round of elections, while incumbent President Dodon – 32.61 per cent.

Moldova’s presidential election is being monitored by 2,000 local and 300 international observers.
