Moambe celebrates 53 years of broadcasting

Moambe News Program of Georgian Public Broadcaster marked the 53 years of broadcasting.

The daily news program Moambe was launched on January 4, 1968. The idea for the name of the news program belongs to the Head of the editorial board Tamaz Khomeriki. Moambe was the only news program in Georgia during the years. The unique footage is stored in the GPB’s archive.

Today, the news program goes live from a modern studio. GPB has television, radio, and web platforms for the news broadcast. The media products are translated into ethnic minority languages.
