Minister of Economy – AE Solar Company sent first portion of production from Georgia to U.S.

Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Natia Turnava visited AE Solar Company in a free industrial zone in Kuatisi city of Imereti region and became introduced with the company’s work and future plans.

The German Company AE Solar is producing solar energy modules in Georgia. The company has invested more than USD 10 million and employs 140 people. AE Solar Company sent the first portion of production from Georgia to the U.S. today.

“The company is supplying Europe, region’s countries and now the U.S. with its production. We are trying to support the company so that it does not change its plans to expand production regardless of the pandemic and global economic crisis,” Turnava said.
