Mikheil Saakashvili, former President of Georgia said that U.S. President Donald Trump used to say everywhere during the pre-election campaigning that he knew him. Saakashvili talked about the U.S. President during the meeting with young marketing specialists in Odessa, Ukraine.
“Trump arrived in Batumi and said that it would be the best city in the world after 5 years. He did not tell me about it but told the American television channels. And this is advertising. Why did he arrive? Why was he praising us? Trump used to arrive and invite me to his house. Donald Trump accompanied me in New York streets, theaters, restaurants because everyone likes to be associated with success,” Saakashvili said.
According to former President of Georgia, when Trump was a presidential candidate, he used to repeat that he knew Saakashvili and that Georgia had the best educational and tax system in the world.
