Of course, Germany supports and will support you. That is why I am here –  German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a joint news conference with Prime Minister of Georgia Mamuka Bakhtadze in Tbilisi on Thursday.

We can say that in the context of the Eastern Partnership, Georgia is a very important partner: Association Agreement, Free Trade Agreement, Strengthening, Expanding, Bilateral Relationships. So far, we work on enhancement and extension of the existed tools and my visit helps, for example, deepening of economic relations.

In my opinion, one step that is very important for both of us is visa liberalization, the aspects and achievements the two countries have – Merkel noted.
