MEP Cramon praises GD and some opposition parties for readiness to sign EU-backed deal

Member of the European Parliament, Viola von Cramon, praises the ruling Georgian Dream and those opposition parties that expressed readiness to sign the new compromise paper proposed by President of the European Council Charles Michel. 

“Georgia, one more step to go! Kudos to Georgian Dream and those opposition parties that put Georgia’s interest above all and will sign the deal tomorrow. President Zourabichvili made a bold decision in a time of crisis! On behalf of the European Parliament looking forward to working with Georgian parliament,” MEP tweeted.

President of the European Council Charles Michel published a new proposal on April 18. Ruling Georgian Dream and several oppositional political parties expressed readiness to sign renewed EU-backed compromise paper.
