Mamuka Mdinaradze labels Kosachev's statement as cynical

Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority said: “Konstantin Kosachev’s statement is cynical as prior to talking about any diplomatic relations, Russia still has to meet the conditions.”

“First of all, the representatives of the Russian Parliament should consider their unfulfilled obligations as well as the international norms they violate and also how they treat people in the occupied territories of Georgia. After that, we can talk a little more seriously about the topics they mentioned today just because they want to put it into Russian narrative,” Mdinaradze said.

Konstantin Kosachev, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal Council of Russian Federation said: “Russia is ready to fully resume parliamentary dialogue with Ukraine and Georgia.”  Kosachev noted that “the Russian MPs are not afraid to discuss acute issues as they are ready to listen to collocutors’ arguments.”
