Mamuka Bakhtadze – We are launching a 0.5 billion-GEL project, largest investment in Adjara Tourist Infrastructure

We are launching a large-scale, 0.5 billion-GEL-worth project, the largest investment in Adjara tourist infrastructure – Mamuka Bakhtadze, Prime Minister of Georgia said in Kobuleti resort during the opening of the construction site of Green City and a golf pitch. According to PM, the site will become a ‘visit card’ of Georgia and will transform Kobuleti into a 4-season resort.

Bakhtadze said that the current free trade regime ensured the attraction of more investments from the European Union member countries.

“In three years, on this territory of 180 hectares, we will have one of the best resorts and we will all be proud of it,” PM said and thanked heads of the Adjara Autonomous Republic for support in implementation of the project.

Green Resort Company invested 500 million GEL in construction of Green City in Kobuleti resort. About 500 people will be employed for construction works and operation.

The project envisages arrangement of a golf pitch, football stadium, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and entertaining and recreation zones. A 250-room hotel will be also built with conference halls and leisure infrastructure.
