Mamuka Bakhtadze – Tightest integration with Europe is possible through education and culture

Education is the shortest way to freedom and resolution of challenges facing Georgia – Georgian Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze said during the opening ceremony of Tbilisi Regional Center of European Academy at Tbilisi Ivane Javakhishvili State University (TSU).

According to PM, Georgia took the obligation to invest 6% of Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in education starting 2022.  “We are proud of our history, past that is grounded on education and culture. We have the national idea that is education,” Bakhtadze said.

PM said that the country’s strategy was to make Georgia an economic center and leader of the region. He said that returning to the European family was not only a political choice. “This is a choice based on civilization and values. We imagine the tightest integration with our family, Europe, through education and culture,” Bakhtadze claimed.
