Mamuka Bakhtadze – No staff changes expected in government

We need rapid and operative decisions – Mamuka Bakhtadze, Georgian Prime Minister said in response to the question of journalists about any further changes feasible in the government.

Bakhtadze said that the state budget for 2019-2020 will be consolidated in the amount of 27 billion GEL. “We have an expectation that the resource will be enough to cope with all challenges and facilitate social problems to the public,” PM said.

Bakhtadze said that no further changes were feasible in the government but if any minister was behind the schedule, a corresponding decision about his/her replacement would follow.

Giorgi Kobulia, former Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development quit the post on April 18. Natia Turnava, Deputy Economic Minister replaced him on the position.
