Lithuanian President arrives in Georgia

President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaitė has arrived in Georgia. The Administration of President of Georgia informs that the visit aims to deepen a bilateral dialogue between the countries, to participate in the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Georgia’s First Democratic Republic and to discuss the preparatory works for upcoming NATO summit.

Following the official reception at the Presidential Palace, President Giorgi Margvelashvili and President Grybauskaitė will hold a face-to-face meeting and make joint statements for the media.

Within the frameworks of her visit, Dalia Grybauskaitė will also meet with Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

Starting May 24, authentic name of Lithuania (Lietuva) has been introduced in Georgian language.
