Linas Linkevičius - More efforts must be followed by benefits and more appreciation

An Eastern Partnership Country that is ready to make more efforts and spread its wings deeper and wider must be given the chance to do so – Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius said during the discussion – “future prospects of the Eastern Partnership through stronger economies, stronger governance, stronger connectivity and stronger societies.”

According to him, making more benefits must be given for making more efforts. “All partners should feel comfortable within the Eastern Partnership format and as the Prime Minister of Georgia has recently dictated me -“more benefits must be given for making more efforts.” Yes, I agree. It sounds like poetry, but more effort should be followed by more benefits and appreciation. It is very logical and practical. The Eastern Partnership Country that is ready to make more efforts and spread its wings deeper and wider must be given the chance to do it,” Linkevičius said.

The discussion was held in Brussels within the framework of the conference dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eastern Partnership. The information was released by the Press Office of the Prime Minister of Georgia.
