Leri Khabelov: Athletes who plan to obtain an Olympic license will gather soon for training

Leri Khabelov, President of the Georgian National Olympic Committee talked about upcoming training camps in an interview with Georgian First Channel.

Khabelov said, “athletes who plan to obtain an Olympic license would gather soon for training.”

“The federations claimed that it is necessary to resume training. There are about 200 athletes, and it is not hard to control this number of people.

We have also sent a letter to the Prime Minister and we hope for a positive answer. We will likely have about 35 athletes in Tokyo. 8 licenses have already been obtained, the rest is ahead,” Khabelov said.
