Lelo party calls for change among Interagency Coordination Council members

A member of the Lelo for Georgia parliamentary faction, Ana Natvlishvili, believes that the composition of the Interagency Coordination Council should change.

According to Natvlishvili, healthcare managers, skilled public policy professionals, public sector representatives, independent experts, and opposition should staff the council.

Furthermore, Natsvilishvili believes the work of this body must be public and transparent. “The council should be widely representative. However, no matter how skilled people staff it, its action would hardly be better if they continue working in closed sessions. We lack information, have no access to arguments behind enforced decisions,” Ana Natsvlishvili said.
