Leader of Parliamentary Majority - Government will not admit blocking of parliament

The parliament sitting will be held on November 26 as it is held in usual regime and case. The government will not admit blocking of the parliament building so that that the parliamentary work is interrupted – Mamuka Mdinaradze, Leader of the Parliamentary Majority said.

According to Mdinaradze, the opposition is putting the public at deception, and all the proposed versions about the electoral system represent nothing but mere speculation and are not relevant.

“We have been hearing statements about introduction of something similar to the so-called German model of election system. Any lawyer and constitutionalist will agree that German model or something similar to that is incompatible with Constitution of Georgia,” Mdinaradze stated.

Leader of the parliamentary Majority also said that the right to freedom of expression was protected in the country if it did not go beyond the framework of law.
