Leader of Girchi - For More Freedom fined for opening bar

Zurab Japaridze, Leader of the opposition Girchi-For More Freedom Party, has been fined for illegal economic activities.

The Labour Inspection Department fined Japaridze 2000 GEL for running a bar.

Zurab Japaridze states that he is not going to pay the fine. He says that MP mandate protects him, and plans to run the bar in the next days.

Japaridze opened a bar At Japara in Tbilisi on February 13. He said he declared political disobedience with this move,  in protest against the coronavirus related restrictions.
