Leader of Aghmashenebeli Strategy – It is important that consultation process continues

Giorgi Vashadze, Leader of Aghmashenebeli Strategy Party said that it was important that consultation process between the ruling party and opposition continued.

“This means that the parties are ready for the right agreement which will be based on our demands. We will see the rest. The process of recount of votes has come to an end. The Central Election Commission summarized the protocols yesterday and today’s meeting will show what the recount will make us think,” Vashadze said.

The second meeting between representatives of Georgian Dream and oppositional parties is ongoing at the residence of U.S Ambassador to Georgia.

Kelly Degnan. U.S. Ambassador and Carl Hartzell, EU Ambassador to Georgia are attending the meeting.

The first round of consultations with participation of foreign diplomats was held on November 12. Talks were held about the tense political situation created in the aftermath of 2020 parliamentary elections.
