Lawyer: Levan Topadze's health condition is stable

“Levan Topadze’s health condition is stable. He still remains in Khechinashvili Clinic,” Topadze’s lawyer Giorgi Antadze told journalists today.

According to the lawyer, the case should be investigated, including an expertise to determine how severe the injury is.

“Zhvania has been transferred to a pre-trial detention centre and as far as I know, he does not plead guilty,” Antadze said.

Businessman Gogi Topadze’s grandson was wounded in Tbilisi on Sunday.

The officers of the Vake-Saburtalo police division detained Busa Zhvania, the son of the former Prime Minister Zurab Zhvania for causing severe health injury on purpose.

Busa Zhvaniahe has not been officially charged yet.
