Kutaisi mayoral candidate Khatia Dekanoidze believes SSG activity to be investigated after October 2 race

“We think it would be better to concentrate on the referendum before the October 2 race. I am sure everything related to the total control of the state and people by the State Security Service of Georgia (SSG) will be investigated after,” Khatia Dekanoidze said.

Kutaisi mayoral candidate echoed Lelo’s initiative to convey an extraordinary sitting of the Parliament regarding the leaked incrimination files.

Dekanoidze said her faction would take part in the extensive investigation into the criminal liability of the Head of SSG Liluashvili, this governmental body, and all those people after the October 2 referendum, as their crimes have to be proved by an objective justice.

At the same time, Khatia Dekanoidze filed a lawsuit with the Prosecutor’s Office to launch an investigation into the illegal eavesdropping case.

Kutaisi mayoral candidate believes all affected citizens should apply to the prosecutor’s office with a similar lawsuit to demand the eavesdropping materials made public.
