We will not reconcile with the policy, will not fall apart, but will become stronger, we will not stop the peaceful struggle,” Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equity said in Atotsi village of Kareli Municipality where Russian soldiers resumed border demarcation works.

Tsikhelashvili talked to locals and expressed support to them. “Many of you have no access to your agriculture plots. With progress and development, we will manage to defeat this distorted reality,” Tsikhelashvili stated.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia condemned the illegal borderization process resumed by the installation of artificial barriers at Atotsi village, Kareli Municipality of Shida Kartli region, and called on Russia for stopping illegal moves targeted against Georgia’s territorial integrity and state sovereignty.

Illegal borderization process is ongoing near Atotsi village, Kareli Municipality of Shida Kartli region – State Security Service reported on November 6. The European Union Monitoring Mission (EUMM) in Georgia is notified about the illegal activities.
