Ketevan Tsikhelashvili – Response that Russia has no connection with Archil Tatunashvili’s case is unacceptable

Individual or state lawsuit into Archil Tatunashvili’s case (Georgian soldier killed in occupied Tskhinvali region), in any case, holds Russia responsible as being the state implementing effective control – Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality said in response to the letter sent by Russian General Prosecutor’s Office to Tatunashvili’s family.

According to Tsikhelashvili, the lawsuit will be filed against Russia. “Response that Russia has no connection with Archil Tatunashvili’s case is unacceptable,” State Minister told First Channel.

Archil Tatunashvili’s family and lawyer received a letter from Russian General Prosecutor’s Office which said that South Ossetia was an independent state and Russia was not interfering in its domestic affairs.
