I know that American tourists really want to come here, I’ll definitely do as the Prime Minister advised and will discover Georgia, – Ambassador of the United States to Georgia, Kelly Degnan told reporters at Lopota Lake, where Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia holds a meeting with diplomats.
“It is very nice to be here today when Georgia reopens tourism. I think it is very important for the diplomatic community and business representatives to hear from the Prime Minister, Ministers of Economy and Foreign Affairs about the studies conducted by Georgia, to make sure that the reopening of tourism is carried out in a safe and healthy way so that the tourist who comes here will enjoy with all that Georgia offers,” – said Kelly Degnan.
Ambassador noted that the pandemic began soon after when she arrived in Georgia.
“It has been a long three months for everyone. It started when I arrived. However, I think the crisis brings people together. We are helping each other generously and I think it will continue no matter what lies ahead. I know that American tourists really want to come here. I’ll definitely do as the Prime Minister advised and will discover Georgia” – Kelly Degnan added.
