KazTransGas-Tbilisi once again calls for caution when using gas installations.

According to the company, a married aged couple allegedly poisoned by carbon monoxide (CO) late last night at Khetagurovi Street in Tbilisi. As KazTransGas states, the family used a prohibited open camera type water heater.

“The family was using an open, prohibited water heater. Our specialists cut off the heater and warned the owners of the apartment not to use it. Specialists of the KazTransGas specialists also checked the ventilation channels of the building to protect the safety of other residents and detected another prohibited heater connected to a ventilation channel, which threatened the lives of other residents of the building as well. The owner of the apartment was warned and instructed not to use the heater”, reads the statement of KazTransGas.
