The Russian delegation members are leaving Georgia, obviously, the conference will not and cannot continue in this form, – stated Kakha Kaladze, secretary general of the Georgian Dream party at the briefing.

The announcement was made in the central office of the party together with team members.

Kakha Kaladze described the incident, which took place at the Georgian parliament today, as an outrageous fact, noting that holding the forum in this form, chaired by the Russian delegate, was incorrect and inadmissible.

“The Russian delegation members are leaving Georgia, obviously, the conference will not and cannot continue in this form.

Georgia has been a member of the assembly for 26 years. However, it was incorrect and inadmissible to hold the forum in the Georgian parliament in the form it was held, chaired by a member of the Russian delegation. The organizers will have to provide detailed explanations and apology to Georgia society”, – Kakha Kaladze said.

According to him, Georgia combats occupation on a daily basis.

“Today, in society and in our team there is a complete consensus about this fact.

Now, amid emotions, we should not act in the way to allow the enemy to use the situation for its interests”, – Kaladze added.

According to him, today’s incident affected the ruling party.
